This is a collection of 220 custom HD Orb icons with support up to xxhdpi resolution (so will look great on tablets too). The aim of this pack is very much Quality over Quantity, I noticed that a lot of app icons have really poor resolution which looks bad on modern screens and set about creating an icon pack to improve this. I have used higher res images for all these icons and also tweaked the contrast, brightness and shadowing before placing into a glass orb effect icon. For this blue pack I have also themed all of the original HD icons to give a blue/black tint.

Requests

I have included an iconmask feature so the app will theme any icons in your app drawer. There is a drawback to this though – the icons won’t have quite the same high quality as the custom ones. Also use of colours in the iconmasking method can give varied results which makes any colour themed packs tricky to execute. I think it looks good and matches well, but I will happily take requests for icons to receive the ‘Blue HD’ treatment with the aim being for this pack to grow over time in number and quality.

Compatibility / Installation

The creators of these launchers all have varying ways of executing an icon change and the functions they allow; whilst the icon pack is fully supported by all, some aspects of this pack will only work on certain launchers:

Nova / Nova Prime – Full iconmask, iconpicker and iconpack support.
To Install – (Nova Settings>Look and Feel>Icon Theme)
Apex / Apex Pro – Full iconmask, iconpicker and iconpack support.
To install – (Apex Settings>Theme Settings>Select Iconpack)
ADW – Full iconmask, Iconpack support .
No iconpicker support but can choose ‘icon from theme’.
To install – (ADW Settings>Themes>Select Iconpack)
ADW Ex –Iconpack, Iconback support and choose ’icon from theme’.(No iconpicker)
To install – (ADW Settings>Themes>Select Iconpack)
Holo / Holo HD – Full iconmask, iconpack and ‘ icon from theme’ support. (No iconpicker support)
To install – (Launcher Settings>Appearance Settings>Icon Pack)
Go Launcher EX – Full iconpack support.
To install – (Launcher Settings>Themes>Installed)
